Privacy Policy
Privacy is how docam is built, not a setting you switch on.
- All device checks run locally on your phone.
- Video, audio and photos are never transmitted — they stay on the device and are deleted after each test.
- Only a technical report is sent to the server: device model, OS version and test results.
- IP address and geolocation are never stored in reports.
- No advertising identifiers, IMEI, serial numbers or phone numbers are collected.
- Free reports are kept for 90 days, then automatically deleted.
- The docam.app website uses Yandex.Metrica for anonymous visit statistics (cookies). The app and reports contain no trackers.
AI call-readiness analysis (Pro)
AI analysis is an optional Pro feature. It runs only after your explicit consent in the app, and consent can be withdrawn at any time in the app settings.
- Only numeric test results are sent for analysis — frame brightness, sound level in decibels, network speed and latency — plus the device model and OS version.
- Video, audio and photos never leave your device: the analysis works with numbers only.
- Your name, email, phone number, IP address, geolocation and serial numbers are never sent.
- Data is processed via the docam server by Anthropic (Claude) and is not used to train AI models.
- Analyses are stored for up to 400 days, then automatically deleted.
- Anonymous device statistics (comparison with similar devices) are shared only with a separate opt-in, off by default: an irreversible hash instead of any device identifier, dates rounded to a month. It can be revoked at any time.
