You'll instantly see the condition of the screen, battery, cameras and every other key component. Most importantly, the report can't be changed after it has been created. If even a single value is modified, verification on docam.app will immediately show that the report has been tampered with.

When the check is complete, you'll receive a QR code report. Scan it during the meetup to open its verification page on docam.app, where you can confirm that the report is authentic and belongs to the exact device being inspected.

What to check yourself when you meet
A couple of things the app can't check
A few things no app can check — and we won't pretend otherwise. They're worth a quick look yourself, it takes a minute:
- Whether the phone is stolen or blocked by IMEI — dial *#06# to get the number, then look it up in an IMEI checker.
- A lock to someone else's account — iCloud on iPhone or a Google account on Android — only shows up after the phone is reset to factory settings.
- Whether the screen and internal parts are original — this can't be told reliably, and we won't claim it can.
- Water damage, scratches and cracks on the body and glass, the state of the SIM tray — only your own eyes will catch these.
Your data stays put
Nothing leaves the phone
Every check runs on the phone itself. The report only includes the model, the OS version and the check results — no phone number, IMEI, serial or location. Free reports are kept for 90 days, then deleted automatically.
